Legacy Of The Dragonborn Compatible Mods

Want to know some spoiler free, core information about the Odyssey project? Well you've come to the right place.

This is a list of all unique non-displayable special items from the game, and those added by Legacy and its integrated and supported mods. With a mod like Jaxonz Positioner, you can place the items in the museum yourself. They will not count as displays though, it is purely cosmetic. Some mods require a compatibility patch to ensure that they will not cause problems for Legacy in your game. All are found in the Legacy of the Dragonborn Patch Collection installer, Optional Mod Patches for Legacy installer or in the other file sections on Legacy's Patch Central. A lot of the compatibility patches are by third party authors.

Q-What is the ETA on completion of Act 1?
A-tentative date is some time during the existence of human kind. Hopeful for some time before the end of 2020.
UPDATE: Due to Covid and a delay in productivity, we do not have high hopes for any completed version before 2021.

Q-Will this be compatible with Beyond Skyrim or other large worldspace mods?
A-Compatible yes, immersive no since we will be making many of the same spaces in some cases.

Q-Will Odyssey require a new game?
A-Since Odyssey will be employed as master files, it will be most prudent to start a fresh game when Act 1 releases. We are making every effort possible to allow players to add subsequent acts later, however because of the structure and reality of how Skyrim works, it may create instability since adding something earlier in your load order shifts all other mods loaded after it which can displace records and cause issues.

Q-Will Odyssey be available on SE and LE?
A-We have made the choice to only support Odyssey on SSE, but the worldspace may be available as a resource for LE mod authors after Act 1 releases on SE and we may release an unsupported 'use at your own risk' backport of V5 for LE.

Q-Will the story require the player to be a Dragonborn character?
A-As Odyssey is a sequel to Legacy, the lore does hinge around the player being a canonical Dragonborn as designed in the vanilla game.

Q-I'm part of the team and producing content for the project, can I re-distribute the work?
A-All assets you produce, you retain ownership of and Icecreamassin retains a creative commons license to utilize the content in whatever way is deemed useful to the project at large and Legacy associated projects. If you wish to redistribute, you may but we ask that you wait until your work has been presented in the act of Odyssey it was made for before doing so. Concept art however can be utilized for portfolios and other demonstration purposes, we just ask that you indicate the work is for the the Odyssey Project.

Q- How much content is the Odyssey project going to add?
A- Hard to say at this point. A good estimate would be that all 8 acts of Odyssey together will likely equate 3-4 full Dragonborn sized DLC's worth of content and add hundreds of hours of extra play time.

Q- What is the recommended level difficulty for Odyssey?
A- Odyssey is intended as post game content that requires the main quest being completed, so we recommend level 50+

Q- How big is this thing gonna be?
A- Hard to say. Act 1 is the size of Solsthiem with just as many quests as Dragonborn (if not more). And while the other acts are going to be somewhat smaller in scope, cumulatively, all 8 acts of Odyssey will probably add up to 3-4 'Dragonborn' DLC's worth of content offering hundreds of hours of extra play time.
