Tales Of Berseria Synopsis

Tales of Berseria is a surprisingly strong showing for this long-running series. Its tragic story of broken people fighting on the wrong side of history makes it utterly compelling, and its well-tuned combat more than makes up for its lack of interesting environments. Simply put, this is a tale too heartbreaking to miss, or to forget. Tales of Berseria is a surprisingly strong showing for this long-running series. Its tragic story of broken people fighting on the wrong side of history makes it utterly compelling, and its well.

Synopsis

Tales of Berseria is set in the continent of Glenwood, in the distant past of the Tales of Zestiria game. Central to the setting is the Sacred Kingdom of Midgand, which stretches across multiple large islands and smaller archipelagos. It is large enough to have climate variations ranging between its northern and southern regions, with the northern regions recently experiencing stronger snowstorms as the world grows colder. The Kingdom continues to develop its shipbuilding capability, but due to harsh weather, seaborne trade must still travel well-known paths, which are constantly beset by pirates.
Three years ago, a sickness known as Daemonblight befell the land. The sickness turns people into Daemons, and the world has fallen into an age of chaos. Even then, in a remote region of the Kingdom, the protagonist Velvet lived with her family in relative comfort. A night came when a red moon rose, and she was betrayed by Artorius, who was once her savior. She lost her family, while a mysterious power that consumed demons possessed her left arm. A measure of order returned to the world after Artorius founded the Abbey and the Exorcists. Artorius is hailed as the world's savior, but Velvet harbored only anger for him.

Okay this is my first review and I'm usually not good in making reviews but I'll try my best. Also, sorry for my English, my main Language is French.
I decided to read the manga after playing the game. When I saw that there was only 3 volumes, I knew that they'll cut a lot on the story. But that was too much. There's not enought actions and adventures. Everything lasts for a few moments. When there's a fight, it ends really fast and you don't get it. You never see the explorations of the dungeons, when they're entering a dungeon, they're immediately at the boss battle. There's is a lot of missing elements. They're also changing some things from the original story, I knew it wouldn't be perfect but I was hopping for something better than this. The story is too fast, you don't have time to enjoy it. They're also skipping a lot of elements. There's a lot little of things that you don't really understand due to that. Despite all that, it's not that bad, it's okay, you can still understand the story but with less enjoyment and emotions. The characters are not exactly the same as they appear in the game, that's normal as it's not the same artist who drew them. But sometime they look totally different, they're not always the same.

I will be honest i give high rates to pretty much everything i watch cause i always enjoy everything i watch(Or read, depends)
I am gonna try to keep this spoiler free as its my first review
I finished the game and i decided to pick up on the manga and i can say its pretty good, follows the game, kills some details, introduces others
BEcause i loved the gagme ofc i love the manga following it,i can say it is well drawn,
Except for Eizens eyes which creep me out, Berseria comes after zeistria or however you write it,and it pretty much has a role of fixing everything wrong with it and it does
I wont get into much detail but i will say this
If you loved the game you gonna love the manga
Hopefully i am waiting for an anime too

Tales Of Berseria Synopsis Anime

This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of Velvet Crowe, a warrior on a quest for vengeance against an evil lord. As players explore towns and fields, they can interact and recruit additional characters to help battle enemy soldiers and fantastical creatures (e.g., dragons, werewolves, lizard men) in melee-style combat. Players use swords, lances, pistols, and magic spells to defeat enemies. Battles are frenetic, highlighted by impact sounds and cries of pain. Cutscenes also show acts of violence: a man impaled with a sword; a man repeatedly shooting himself in the head. Some sequences depict blood stains on characters' bodies and/or clothing. The game contains some suggestive material: female characters and creatures depicted partially nude (no genitalia or nipples are seen); suggestive references in the dialogue (e.g., “You mean it feels good to get whipped,” “Your butt is a bit bulky,” and “Eating lots of vegetables will give you bazongas”). During the course of the game, some characters are depicted drinking alcohol, slurring their speech, and discussing drinking (e.g., 'If you guys are going to have a drinking contest, you're going to need some snacks to go with all that alcohol, right?'). The words “a*s” and “bastard” appear in dialogue.
